McAuliffe Elementary librarian Kirby Thomas walked the red carpet Sunday night, courtesy of Ellen DeGeneres.
The talk show host asked Thomas to interview stars at the Academy of Country Music Awards Sunday.
Last month, Ellen's favorite librarian from Union Public Schools was proposed to by her boyfriend, Jason and she said yes.
How did Kirby become Ellen's favorite librarian? In February, Ellen surprised Kirby with a $25,000 check among other gifts for her students.

Ellen had her back on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" Friday and Kirby revealed that she and her fiancé set their wedding date for July 11.
Then, Ellen asked Kirby to be her correspondent on the red carpet at the American Country Music Awards April 6. Country music duo Love and Theft invited Kirby to be their guest at the show.
Kirby said she was hoping to see Garth Brooks at the awards show because she is a major fan and feels that everyone in Oklahoma has a story of running into him except for her. No word yet if she got to meet him
