Police in Fayetteville have released video of OU quarterback Baker Mayfield’s arrest.

In the video, Mayfield can be seen being tackled by police after attempting to run away.

Mayfield was arrested in the town on February 25 for public intoxication, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and fleeing.

According to a police report, Mayfield said he tried to break up a fight. Mayfield reportedly yelled obscenities at officers trying to get a statement from him.

Police say Mayfield had slurred speech, was covered in food and had a difficult time walking.

Mayfield has since apologized for the incident saying, "Just know that I am extremely sorry."
