It spanned 50 miles and three counties.
According to the Oklahoma City NBC affiliate, KFOR-TV, it started late last night near the Canadian County and Caddo County lines.
The gunman ran a husband and wife off the road. The suspect shot and killed the husband.
The unidentified suspect then traveled farther west to Custer County, where he shot and killed a woman.
He was eventually arrested in Custer County for DUI.
The Custer County sheriff said the man surrendered peacefully at 12:39 a.m.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol and OSBI will continue to investigate the incidents.
