Bald eagle found in downtown Tulsa to be released by Tulsa Zoo

TULSA -- After a week of treatment, the Tulsa Zoo announced that it will be releasing a bald eagle back into the wild.

The zoo says they found and rescued the young eagle in downtown Tulsa on June 9th and brought the bird to the zoo for treatment.

The bald eagle will be released Sunday near 23rd Street west of the Arkansas River.
