A house in west Tulsa was fully engulfed in flames Thursday evening.

The house was being remodeled at the time of the fire and was about a third of the way done, according to the home owner.
He said he got a call from a neighbor about the fire and when he arrived on scene flames were "shooting from the roof."

The Tulsa Fire Department says they got the call around 9 p.m. after the house was fully consumed in flames.

The home is in near 35th avenue and Easton street, just west of Downtown Tulsa. Fire crews were able to put it out quickly but the remodeling project was "completely lost", according to the home owner.
Tulsa fire has yet to release a cause of the fire.
