JUSTICE, Okla. - A family retreated to their basement as a tornado bore down on their house.
The tornado was part of a system that left damage in Owasso earlier in the evening.
In Justice, south of Claremore, decades-old trees were uprooted, the house and cars were destroyed.
The elderly couple who lived in the home sought safety in their basement.
Family members told 2 Works for You reporter Darcy Jackson they were relieved no one was injured.
