TULSA - Multiple fire departments worked a large fire at a business near Catoosa Friday morning.

Fire investigators will determine what caused two buildings to catch fire at CMC Recycling.

Catoosa Fire Chief Denus Benton said they don't believe there is anything suspicious about how the fire started.

Several drivers spotted the flames from a distance and reported it around 3 a.m.

The two buildings were a three-story warehouse and a large shed.

Benton said the business recycles scrap metal.

It took about an hour and several departments to put out the fire, including Tulsa, Catoosa, Rolling Hills and Oak Grove Fire Departments.

Crews went back two or three times to make sure there weren't any hot spots left.

One of the buildings housed expensive equipment and fire officials said the business lost close to $2 million or $3 million dollars.

Some of the workers won't be able to come back to work for awhile.

No one was hurt.
