Juror in Officer Betty Shelby manslaughter trial releases letter of jury's thoughts during trial

TULSA - A juror in Officer Betty Shelby's manslaughter trial released a letter on Friday detailing the jury's thought process during the trial.

The letter reads, "I am providing this statement in an effort to placate the desire of various media members to interview members of the jury."

The author of the letter says that each juror was adamant about remaining as anonymous as possible. The letter's author also stated that the jury was "keenly aware" of the significance of the trial's outcome to the community.
