TULSA -- A man was arrested after authorities say he allegedly stole a Tulsa County Sheriff's car.
Around 1:30 a.m. Sunday, a deputy had a DUI suspect in his car near Cheyenne Street and Archer Avenue.
TCSO says the deputy had his back turned when another person, later identified as Mark Branstetter, jumped into the cruiser.
Branstetter then allegedly drove away, returning to the scene moments later. Deputies say Branstetter is now facing several charges including kidnapping and battery on an officer.
Deputies say the DUI suspect was released following the kidnapping.
