OKMULGEE, Okla. – A man was arrested on Tuesday afternoon after, police say, he allegedly fired at people who were working on a roof.

Marco Hernandez, 29, was arrested on complaint of shooting with intent to kill and booked into the Okmulgee County Jail.

The incident started when, police say, reports of a man was climbing onto a roof and brandishing a firearm. A roofing crew reported the incident and claimed that the same suspect fired two shots at the crew.

Investigators say they gathered enough evidence to connect Hernandez to the incident. After working with the Sheriff's Office Special Operations Team, they were able to establish a perimeter around the location Hernandez was found and eventually arrest him.

The case is still ongoing and the District Attorney’s office is still determining what charges to file.
