TULSA -- Police are looking for two people who shot and killed a man after the victim answered a knock on his front door.
Tulsa police responded to the fatal shooting at about 4:45 Sunday morning. Officers said the victim, 25-year-old Curtis Hergenrother also know as Corbin Tyler, died after being shot once in the neck.
Investigators said a man and woman knocked on the victim's door at the Somerset Park at Union Apartments near 65th and Mingo. They reportedly shot him when he answered.
Sgt. Dave Walker said, upon further investigation, the crime scene suggested the victim tried closing the door, and there was a struggle before he was shot.
The victim's roommate and another neighbor reportedly saw what happened, and police said they are now questioning them.
Police have only a limited description of a white truck that the two suspects left in following the shooting.
