Police say a man was shot Sunday evening after allegedly threatening another man with a crowbar at a Burger King in midtown Tulsa.
Officers responded to the fast food restaurant near East 41st Street and South Memorial Drive around 5:30 p.m.
They say a suspect was carrying a crowbar when he approached another man outside the restaurant.
Police say the victim then pulled out a gun and shot the man accused of threatening him once in the shoulder.
Officers say the suspect was able to drive away from the scene in a blue car. They say he later turned up at Bailey Medical Center in Owasso where he was interviewed by police. They say a follow-up investigation will determine if he will face charges.
Police say no arrests have been made in connection to the shooting.
They say the shooter will not face charges because he was acting in self-defense. Police say the shooter is a CLEET-certified bondsman.
