TULSA - When the doors are closed and then locked Tuesday at Miss Jackson's, it'll be the last time for a store that's been in business for more than 100 years.

The store announced in late October that it would be closing after "careful consideration of the sustainability of a stand-alone, high end boutique, store model.”

This week the store sent a statement saying, "After nearly 106 years and a wonderful holiday season, the time has come to close our doors. Tuesday, January 5th, will be Miss Jackson’s last day of business. Thank you for shopping and sharing your fond memories with us during these final days. We will always feel privileged to have been a part of your lives, and honored to be a part of Tulsa history.” We thought you might want to share this with your viewers as well."

Miss Jackson’s opened in 1910 in downtown Tulsa and later moved its storefront to Utica Square in the mid-1960s.

Store hours are from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.
