Tulsa police are investigating a deadly officer-involved shooting that happened Friday afternoon near 1st and Utica.

Police say a man is dead after officers fired multiple shots at him. According to investigators the man refused to drop his knife. They first deployed a Taser more than once before shooting him several times.
Officers say the man pulled a knife on a couple who were selling a car in a nearby lot. At least two witnesses called 911 to report the man with the knife.
Officers say chest compressions were performed on the man before he was transported.
Witnesses say the man was well-known to people in the area and was considered homeless.
Investigators are now reviewing police dash cam footage.
