BIXBY, Okla. - Students of Bixby public schools are getting to start their summer a little early this year.
The district has announced the school year will end one week before school normally lets out. The last day of school for the district will me May 12th.
Officials say the move is possible because the district has six unused snow days. The Associated Press reports that the move will save the school about $100,00.
