Pilot being evaluated after small plane crashes at Tulsa International Airport, officials say

UPDATE: According to the Tulsa International Airport, the FAA is investigating the plane crash from today at 12:30 PM. At this time the condition of the pilot is unknown but the pilot was transported to St. John Hospital to be evaluated, out of precaution.

A pilot is being evaluated after a small plane went off the runway at the Tulsa International Airport, TIA officials say.

Officials say the incident happened shortly after 12:30 p.m. when the Piper Warrior was landing.

Officials say the incident is not affecting air traffic as it happened on a small runway.

Officials say there are no fatalities as the pilot was the only person on board.
