JENKS, Okla. - Police have confirmed that a suspect taken into a custody following a standoff in Jenks Thursday afternoon is the same suspect accused of shooting a man in the stomach in north Tulsa.
Joel Blackburn was arrested following the standoff.
According to authorities, Blackburn went to his mother’s home in Jenks following a shooting in north Tulsa.

The north Tulsa shooting caused six schools to go on a brief modified lockdown earlier in the day Thursday.
Police and U.S. Marshalls responded to the scene on South Vine and 119th.
