The Wagoner County Sheriff's Office and Wagoner County Emergency Management responded to an area just south of Coweta for reports of a plane crash.
Reports came in just before 8:30 a.m. of a small plane that went down in the area of East 205th and State Highway 72.
The pilot of the plane was flown via Airevac to an area hospital for their significant injuries.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the crash with the Federal Aviation Administration.
The plane took off from the Haskell Airport before experiencing unknown issues and crashing in a rural area of Wagoner County.
