STILLWATER, Okla. – A man is recovering in the hospital after accidentally shooting himself.
Stillwater police were called to Stonegate Apartment Complex at 1800 N. Boomer Road around 3:30 p.m. to find James Thomas, 21, injured with a single gunshot wound.
Thomas recently moved to Stillwater from Wichita, Kansas, according to Stillwater police.
Investigators say Thomas accidentally shot himself while handling the gun.
