TULSA – The man wanted as a person of interest in relation to hammer attack was arrested out of Joplin Friday.
Tulsa police say that Jose Diaz was arrested around 9:30 a.m. at a bus station in Joplin by the Southwest Fugitive Apprehension Marshal Task Force. He was wanted on complaint of assault and battery with a deadly weapon.
Diaz is believed to be the last person seen running from the residence where two people were found with severe head wounds.
