A group of Tulsa cyclists didn't expect their Saturday ride to Skiatook to turn into a fight for their life.
On Saturday, Shawna Hight and a group of cyclists took off north on the Osage Prairie Trail.
Hight says when they approached the intersection near 36th St North they were charged by three dogs.
The cyclists had no where to go but into on coming traffic to get away from the attacking dogs, Hight said.
Hight posted a picture of her dog-bitten shoe on social media.
She said one of the dogs bit her heel and went after her rear tire.
Hight said she called 911 twice to let them know about the problem.
She has since been contacted by animal control, who is looking into the problem.
