TULSA, Okla. - Tulsa firefighters are investigating the cause of a car fire and aren't ruling out arson.

They responded to 11th Street and 129th East Avenue around 11 p.m.

When they arrived, a car was fully engulfed in flames next to a van on a car port. Then, the fire spread to the attic and duplex in front.

Fortunately, the residents were able to escape the fire uninjured. There were a total of seven people in one duplex and four in another.

Fire officials say the front half of the building is 50% damaged, and one of the duplexes isn't fit to live there anymore. However, the back unit will just need to be aired out, until residents can come back.

The Red Cross was called to help anyone affected.
