TULSA - Members of a north Tulsa church are counting their blessings after a tornado ripped off the church's roof while a prayer group was in session.
It happened at the Bethel Seventh Day Adventist Church at 46th Street North and Peoria.

About seven to eight people were inside attending their Wednesday night prayer group when they say it sounded like a freight train was heading toward them.
"We were huddled right in here," said the pastor pointing to a small corner of the church. "We were just all balled up in a ball here, and praying. Everything blew in around us, but we were good. None of us even has a scratch on us."
Everyone inside was ok.
The pastor also told 2 Works for You reporter Cori Duke the church recently underwent interior and exterior work.
He hopes they'll be able to rebuild, but that they will need help.
In addition to the roof blowing off, the building also sustained electrical damage.
