OWASSO, Okla. -- Two people were arrested in Owasso on child abuse charges after what a doctor and multiple nurses describe as "the worst case of child abuse they had seen."
Both Kevin Fowler and Aislyn Miller were arrested Saturday on child abuse charges. Just after 6 Friday, police were dispatched to investigate a child abuse call at urgent care in Owasso.
According to a police report, multiple nurses were working on two victims in the emergency room.
Officers say a nurse told them, with a tear in her eye, the a maggot crawled out of one of the victim's genitals.
The nurse also told officers there were feces in one of the infant's ears and the child looked like a skeleton.
Officers interviewed the children's parents and arrested both Fowler and Miller on child abuse charges.
