Who is the man who will take over for Glanz?

TULSA - Undersheriff Richard Weigel will assume the duties of Tulsa County Sheriff when Stanley Glanz resigns from office.

Weigel was promoted to Undersheriff in May following the resignation of then-Undersheriff Tim Albin.

He has been with Tulsa County Sheriff's Office since 2008.

Prior to Weigel's time at TCSO, he spent one year with the Department of Homeland Security and 35 years with Tulsa Police Department.

Accomplishments:

Sheriff Stanley Glanz is expected to resign before Nov. 10 following a grand jury recommendation that he step down.
