A vacant north Tulsa home caught fire early Monday morning.

The fire broke out around 1 a.m. at a home near East Admiral Place and North Victor Avenue.

Tulsa Fire Department District Chef Jerald Edwards says 20 firefighters responded to the fire, which appeared to be centered in the attic.

Edwards says they were able to knock down the fire in just 10 to 15 minutes, which prevented surrounding structures from suffering any damage.

No firefighters were hurt in battling the blaze.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
