A woman is dead after drowning at Keystone Lake located west of Sand Springs, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
Troopers said 30-year-old Lindsey Thomas of Edmond, Oklahoma was swimming round the north bank of the Keystone Dam area.
Thomas jumped off the rocks, went under and never resurfaced. A friend found Thomas in about 4 feet of water.
The Sand Springs Fire Department, US Army Corp of Engineers, and EMSA assisted on the scene.
