Oklahomans voted in favor of wine and high-point beer being sold in grocery stores and convenience stores?

State Question 792 has passed.

Also included in the proposal is allowing liquor stores to sell cold beer and items other than alcohol, such as limes, corkscrews, etc. It would also allow for liquor store owners to have more than one store. A companion bill will also go into effect now that SQ 792 passed. That bill will allow shipment of wine into Oklahoma.

The measure will go into effect on Oct. 1, 2018.
