LUBBOCK, Texas - Who is the man Oklahoma State's star guard Marcus Smart shoved near the end of the Cowboys loss to Texas Tech Saturday night?
According to ESPN and multiple reports, his name is Jeff Orr.
Texas Tech fan issues apology to Smart
During the closing minutes of the game, Smart fouled a Tech player driving to the basket and ended up behind the baseline on his back. Video shows Smart turn around and shove a man.
Smart received a technical foul and was ushered to the locker room. The Big 12 and Oklahoma State announced Sunday Marcus Smart would be suspended three games
But what did Orr say? According to tweets by former Oklahoma State guard and current basketball analyst Doug Gottlieb, Orr admits to crossing the line.

College basketball analyst Dick Vitale tweeted that he hadn't seen any of the game between the Cowboys and Red Raiders, but after he saw the video, Vitale had harsh words for Orr.

In a video posted to YouTube by Texas Tech University, Orr says he got hooked on Red Raiders basketball in the early '80s and attends as many Tech basketball games at home, and on the road, as he can.
