BLOG: The big solar eclipse is one week away, here's what to expect in Green Country!

We are one week away from the Great American Solar Eclipse!

All of Oklahoma is expected to see at least a partial eclipse as our state enters the Penumbra or partial shadow of the moon. The Umbra, or full shadow of the moon, will pass just off to our north and will be visible in states like Missouri, Nebraska, and Tennessee. You can find some information on when the eclipse will be visible here in Green Country in graphic above.

Right now, it appears like we should have a few clouds around during the eclipse but it doesn't look like complete overcast at time. This may change, so you'll want to check back as we refine the forecast for Monday.

We will be live on-air during the eclipse and will have full coverage throughout the day!
