Isabel is from South Florida and completed her undergraduate double major in Media Communications and Psychology in 2022 at Florida State University.
She went to Syracuse, New York where she earned her Master's degree in Broadcast and Digital Journalism.
There, she did a lot of work in radio and broadcasting mediums— including those in Spanish.
She worked in Buffalo for a year before heading to Tulsa to further her journalistic journey.
Her family comes from Mexico, Cuba and Honduras, so she speaks Spanish and studied French for several years (but forgot a lot of it.)
She hopes to be able to travel more as she continues her work.
Isabel is very excited to explore the city and meet new friends.
