Blanchard, Oklahoma man who shot, killed wife and dog in 2014 found guilty

BLANCHARD, Okla. -- Tuesday, a Blanchard man was found guilty of killing his wife in 2014, reports the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.

OSBI says on August 6, 2014, Larry Keeler shot and killed Gaye Keeler and her dog at Gator’s Deli in Blanchard. The couple reportedly owned the business.

OSBI agents arrested Keeler after an interview at the police department. The trial began February 28 and came to a close Tuesday.

Keeler was sentenced to life without parole for murdering his wife and fined $5,000 for animal cruelty.
