BROKEN ARROW - Broken Arrow Public Schools implemented its new start times for the first day of school Thursday.
BACK TO SCHOOL: What you need to know to get the year started
Students will have staggered start times based on grade level, and late starts for all grades on Wednesdays:

The Broken Arrow Police Department will also start its 10-year-old Operation Safe Streets.
Officers will be in school zones both in the morning and afternoon to keep kids safe when they're walking to and from school.
