2 Cares for the Community: Spreading awareness of child abuse amid pandemic

TULSA, Okla. — 2 Cares for the Community is teaming up with several nonprofit agencies in Tulsa to spread awareness of child abuse.

The "Look Out, Reach Out" campaign was launched to educate the community about "ways to identify and report child abuse that may increase in the wake of social distancing."

Behind this new initiative are the Tulsa Area United Way, Child Abuse Network, Family & Children's Services and the Parent Child Center.

Tune in every Thursday at 10 p.m. during the month of May for special reports to explore this topic.

The stories will air on 2 Works for You starting on May 14.
