TULSA, Okla. — Susan G. Komen Oklahoma is hosting a virtual event for the 2020 Tulsa Race for the Cure, according to organizers.

The event is set to take place on Sept. 26, and there will be an online activation where people can participate.

Although the event in virtual, organizers said Komen Oklahoma will host a car parade for the survivors on the same day as the virtual race.

As an organization dedicated to saving lives, it is of utmost importance to protect the health of our participants, many of whom are breast cancer survivors or are currently in treatment for this disease. Despite current conditions, we are looking forward to leveraging technology this year to ensure we can race together – even if we can’t physically be together – because the fight against breast cancer never ceases.

The registration fees are $25 for adults, $20 for survivors and $15 for youth.
