KELLYVILLE, Okla. — Mackenzie Woods, 2, lost part of her right arm because of a lawn mower accident on Sept. 26.
Since then, the Woods family supports Mackenzie through multiple surgeries, rehabilitation, and doctors appointments. Currently, Mackenzie is healing at home with her parents and siblings.
The process Mackenzie will endure the longest is for a prosthetic arm, which is not covered by her insurance. The total cost needed for a myoelectric arm is $50,000.
A friend of the family created a GoFundMe to raise money for Mackenzie's prothetic arm. So far, community members helped raise more than $4,000.
