TULSA, Okla. — A Tulsa boy’s quest to pray for Tulsa police officers is getting a lot of attention on Facebook.

The powerful image shows Trey on his knee with his hand on the officer’s shoulder. The officer is bending down to meet him and their eyes are closed in prayer.

Today Trey (7) asked to pray for officers in the Tulsa Police Department. So that's exactly what he did. This boy laid his little hands on officers to show them that we love and support them.
Brittany Elliott expressed the current state of the city has broken her heart into pieces, “If this pictures shows you anything. Let it be to pray for those around you.”
Trey's current goal is to talk to every police officer with the Tulsa Police Department. He is currently at 12.
They seem like they're in some really tough times. I just think it will help them.
2 Works for You brought in some back up to surprise Trey, four more Tulsa police officers.
Trey's prayer for the officers is simple.
God, please protect these police officers, and their families, and their city. Amen.
Tulsa police Officer Khara Rogers said Trey's prayer provided hope and made her heart flutter.
On Thursday morning, Trey visited with Tulsa Police Chief Wendell Franklin and said a prayer over him.
Trey prayed for our community, police department and me today. It was an honor to meet this young man involved in his own mission to bring our community together. He is that mustard seed planted which yields a tree used by all. @TulsaPolice pic.twitter.com/o2YMoYMKdO
