BIXBY, Okla. - Today marks 16 years since the deadly terrorist attacks at New York's World Trade Center and the Pentagon in Washington, D.C.

Many remembrance ceremonies will be held across the U.S. to remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost.

One of the ceremonies will be held in Bixby at Washington Irving Park, where a piece of twisted steel from the wreckage of the World Trade Center sits.

There will be a presentation of the flag, ringing of the bells and a silent prayer for the victims.

It starts at 9 a.m.
