JENKS — A unique friendship has blossomed out of a weekly trash pick up in Jenks.
Every Thursday morning, around 7 a.m. 3-year-old Myles Henrichs hears the honking from the American Waste Control truck and runs up to say, "Hello".
This relationship started a few months ago.
When Aaron Mitchell picks up trash at the Henrich's house in Jenks, he’d wave to Myles.
Since, it has escalated to a high five, hug, and conversation.
This week, Myles' mom, Amanda Henrichs, said he was gifted with a surprise.
"This past Thursday, they surprised Myles and brought him a huge garbage truck, which he absolutely loved. It was kind of above and beyond any expectations that I’ve ever had," Henrichs said.
This gift was done by Mitchell's own generosity.
