TULSA - What is the Air National Guard Base in Tulsa?
It's the home of the 138th Fighter Wing of the Oklahoma National Guard. Approximately 325 full-time personnel are employed at the site that sits on 81 acres at the airport.

The federal mission of the 138th Fighter Wing is to maintain combat forces ready for mobilization, deployment and employment as needed to support national security objectives. Additionally, its state mission is to support the governor of the state of Oklahoma with units organized, equipped and trained in the protection of life and property, and preservation of peace, order and public safety under competent orders of authority.
Monday, Tulsa Police were called out to negotiate with a woman who claimed to have a bomb at the National Guard location on 46th Street North, near Highway 169.
