TULSA — Allegiant Airlines announced Tuesday that they will offer a nonstop flight to Destin, Florida starting June 6.
The seasonal route to the Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport will operate twice weekly, according to the airline.
“We are excited to welcome new nonstop service on Allegiant to Destin,” said Alexis Higgins, interim CEO for Tulsa International Airport. “The Emerald Coast is a generational destination for Tulsa area residents who enjoy the region’s beautiful beaches and friendly hospitality.”
The airline now serves five cities from the Tulsa International Airport.
“Allegiant continues to add new direct and seasonal flights to Tulsa International Airport, giving Tulsa residents and the surrounding area more options when traveling,” said Tulsa Mayor G.T. Bynum. “Destin is an extremely popular tourist destination and this new service will be a great benefit to travelers.
To celebrate to the new flight, Allegiant is offering one-way fares to the coastal destination for as low as $59.
