TULSA, Okla. — Amazon officially opens its new fulfillment center in Tulsa.
The retail giant welcomed new employees inside of the 600,000 square-foot fulfillment center at 4040 N 125th E Ave. this week, according to a company spokesperson.
It will employ more than 1,500 full-time associates, the spokesperson said. Employees will pick, pack and ship small items to customers such as books, household items and toys.
Amazon also recently opened two new delivery stations in Oklahoma City.
The Tulsa fulfillment center and Oklahoma City delivery stations are hiring over the next few weeks. Hiring events and interviews are by appointment only and open positions will be posted every Friday.
