Attorneys for Daniel Holtzclaw plan to appeal

TULSA - A former Oklahoma City police officer convicted of rape plans to appeal his conviction. 

Attorneys for Daniel Holtzclaw filed a notice Monday stating their intention to appeal.

Holtzclaw is appealing his conviction on 18 charges, including rape in the 1st degree, sexual battery and forcible oral sodomy.

Holtzclaw was sentenced in January to 263 years in prison.
