BARTLESVILLE, Okla. — Bartlesville police have located a victim in a kidnapping and are working to locate the suspect after an incident that happened Monday morning.

The incident happened at about 10:30 a.m. in the 300 block of Southeast Chickasaw. Police said they received a call regarding a man who forced another man to leave in a car at knifepoint.

Police said Gilbert Campus, 43, forced George Besseris, 56, to leave the apartment.

Besseris was located in Rogers, Arkansas, on Tuesday, where he said he was dropped off by Campus.

Campus is believed to be traveling in a 2008 black Pontiac Grand Prix with a primer hood. The car has Indiana license plate number 440FI. If you see him, you are asked to contact Bartlesville police at 918-338-4001.

Campus is believed to possibly be traveling back to Oklahoma, possibly in the Grove area.

Police said Campus claimed over the phone that he would kill Besseris, and said he will not be taken into custody by law enforcement.
