TULSA -- Ron Baber, the founder of Ron's Hamburgers in Tulsa, passed away early Tuesday morning.
Baber died from health issues at 3:20 a.m. He was 82 years old.
"He lived a good life and was a blessed man. I want to Thank all of you for being a part of our lives," the restaurant wrote on Facebook.
Ron's has five Tulsa locations and several other locations around the metro. The restaurant first opened in 1975 at 15th and Harvard in Tulsa, and now there are 20 locations in Oklahoma and Arkansas. Most of those locations are family-owned and operated.
