TULSA -- A Tulsa woman is shattered after she said her best friend was the victim of a horrendous knife attack.
Brittany Green was found dead in her apartment Monday night, stabbed several times.
“We shared each others secrets, we did everything together,” Sade Commander, Green’s best friend said.
A bond between best friends, now broken.
“It don't make no sense,” Commander said. “You took somebody away. I mean, the girl was young, she didn't do nothing to nobody."
Crime tape serves as a haunting reminder of what happened.
“I can't believe she's gone.. that's my bestie.”
Green was found stabbed to death in her Sierra Pointe apartment in east Tulsa. Investigators report some of her last phone calls were made to friends, claiming she was scared of her boyfriend.
Now, police are trying to figure out who committed the heinous act, leaving a one year old child without a mother.
“Ain't nothing in the world that presents you to take somebody's life,” Commander said.
She adds that her best friend was in a strange relationship. One she didn't approve of.
Green’s boyfriend isn't being named a suspect or person of interest and he has yet to come forward to speak with police.
Commander said whoever the killer might be, know this…
“You're going to get found, you're gonna get caught and whatever is going to happen is going to happen,” she said.
