Attorneys for the juvenile brother charged in the stabbing deaths of five family members have filed a motion challenging the constitutionality of treating their client as an adult in court.
The documents show Attorney Rob Nigh's argument that the law allowing juveniles to be charged as adults is a violation of the 14th amendment.
16-year-old Michael Bever is charged, along with his older brother Robert, with murdering his parents and three siblings in July.
