WAGONER -- At least five businesses were destroyed in a massive fire in Wagoner, including the Owl Drug pharmacy store, which celebrated its 115th year anniversary.

Officials named a person of interest in connection with the fire. He was identified as Roy Weeden. Officials said he was interviewed and released.

The flames erupted Sunday evening around 5:40 p.m. Thirteen fire department agencies responded to the call.

Firefighters had to evacuate several apartments that were above the businesses that caught on fire. A total of six families were displaced.

Officials say they were able to stop the fire from spreading to three other buildings; however, the ones damaged appear to be a total loss. They might have to be torn down, according to the Wagoner Fire Department.

Some of the buildings are historical built in the late 1800s.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
