BROKEN ARROW, Okla. — Another Green Country business shut down during the uncertain times of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Broken Arrow's Warren Theatre closed its doors Thursday. Regal, the company that owns the Warren, said it's temporarily suspending operations at all of its 536 locations in the U.S.
The closures impact around 40,000 employees nationwide, according to Regal officials.
Local theatergoers said they're sad to see the Warren close again for a second time this year.
"So, it is a little heartbreaking to see it go again," Liz Jensen said. "We had to see it go at the beginning of the pandemic and now again. It's just a little sad. We hope it can come back soon."
Regal is the second largest theater chain in the U.S. behind AMC Theatres.
