Car crashes into front yard in north Tulsa

Posted

TULSA - Police are investigating after a car crashed into a home's front yard in north Tulsa Saturday night.

Tulsa police responded to a shots fired call near 56th street North and Peoria Avenue around 9 Saturday night.

Police say two groups got into an argument outside a nearby home when the home's owners became involved.

Authorities say the home owners got into their vehicle and chased one of the groups. That's when the car crashed into the home's front yard.

Officers say the homeowners should not have involved themselves in the situation. Police say there were shots fired, but no one was injured.

The driver who hit the tree was taken to the hospital.
